Kathy is currently organizing the Phase 2 Community Build for the SJCC Natural Outdoor Play Space and Classroom. Phase 1, completed in Fall 2014, includes a music wall, a water wall, an outdoor play kitchen (designed and built by Jim and Kathy), a sand play area, sensory tables, and garden areas. Kathy managed a consultant team hired to develop a conceptual design and with the help of the consultant, oversaw the construction of the space. Nearly 30 volunteers built Phase 1 in less than a day. Phase 2 will include a tike track and balance play area.
